Navier Stokes Explained: Privacy Policy

Effective September 20, 2026

Navier Stokes Explained is an educational fluid simulation for iPhone published by King of the Hour. This policy covers the app only. The website kingofthehour.com has its own privacy policy.

What the app itself collects

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no sign-in and no analytics of its own, and it does not send your activity to us. Your settings and lesson progress are stored on your device and are removed when you delete the app. All lessons and experiments work offline.

Motion sensors

If you turn on Tilt, the app reads your phone's motion sensors so that gravity in the tank follows your phone. That data is used on your device, only while Tilt is on, and is never stored or transmitted.

Advertising

The app is free and shows ads on its menu and reference screens through Google AdMob. Lessons and the simulation itself do not show ads. To deliver and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:

This information goes to Google, not to us, and Google handles it under its own policies. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. Ads are requested with a general-audience content rating.

Your choices

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
